Spell It Infinity starts on one small board. Play toward the edge and new ground unfolds, so the table keeps growing for as long as people keep playing on it. There is no last square.
No download, no account. A guest game starts in seconds.
Ways to play
- The endless board. Solo against the app, or alongside other people, at whatever pace suits everyone.
- Capture the board. Teams claim regions and take them back off each other.
- Today's Challenge. The same tiles as everyone else, once a day.
- Treasure hunts. Chests that only open when several people have built the chain of words that reaches them.
- Pass and play. One phone around a table. No account and no connection needed, and nothing leaves the device.
What it will not do to you
Plenty of games are built to make you anxious about leaving. This one is not, and that is a design decision rather than a feature we forgot.
- No streaks to break and no daily counter to protect
- No countdowns, and no message telling you that you are falling behind
- Nobody is shown where you are: nearby play is a rough count, never a dot on a map with your name on it
- Analytics stay off unless you turn them on
- Tiles are never sold for real money
Words
Games run on a large English word list, with five more languages available to download for offline play. If a real word is refused, tell us and we will look: that is how the list gets better.
